Edit your website right on the page
Click words to type over them, use each section's toolbar, add and save sections, pages and dropdowns, and set the site's look.
Open Website > Edit website. Clicking Website in the menu opens it too. Everything you change goes into a draft. Publish puts it live; Discard throws it away.
Words
Click any words on your page and type. Enter keeps them, Escape puts them back. While you type, a small bar offers:
- Emphasis: select a few words first. They show in your design's accent style.
- Polish, Shorter, Warmer and New version: Flashslash Assist writes a new version in your voice. Enter keeps it, Escape goes back. See Flashslash Assist.
Sections
Point at a section to see its toolbar: Layout (the same words and photos, arranged another way), Colors, ↑ and ↓ to move it, Hide, and Save. + Add a section under it opens the gallery of sections; each fills itself with your words, photos, sessions and reviews.
Under Colors, Quick looks gives a section one of five looks made from your site's colors (Light, Soft, Accent, Deep, Dark), always easy to read. Use it on another page too puts the same section, with its layout, colors and words, on another page.
Saved sections
Style a section once and use it again on any page. Press Save on its toolbar, or pick it under Sections and press Save for reuse, then give it a short name. It keeps the section's layout, its own words and its colors.
Your saved sections show at the top of + Add a section on every page. Adding one puts a copy on the page: change the copy and the others stay as they are. A page shows each section once, so if the page already has that section, adding a saved one gives it the saved layout and words instead. Undo takes it back.
Rename or delete them at the bottom of the Sections tab. Deleting one doesn't change pages that already use it. You can keep up to 30. A saved section from a design you've since switched away from stays listed with that design's name, and can be added again once your site uses that design. Sections from the block library work in every design.
Look
The Look tab sets, for the whole site: the motion as people scroll, the space between sections, the width, and the text size. They work with every design.
Pages
Under Pages, + New page starts from your own details: About, Sessions, Portfolio, Reviews, Questions, a Pricing guide, a Landing page or Blank. On a page you can Duplicate it or make it a Landing page (no menu or footer, and it stays out of your menu: good for an ad or a promotion). Your link-in-bio page is listed there too, with its link to copy.
The Pricing guide puts your sessions, your packages side by side, what every session includes, what to wear, your favorite places, reviews and questions on one page, with a booking button at the end. The sessions, prices, places, reviews and questions fill themselves from what you already have, so the page stays right when a price changes. Change each part's layout and title in the page's list on the left. Once it's published, the email people get after they send an inquiry has a See the pricing guide button.
Menu dropdowns
Under Menu, pick Under another item to show a page in a dropdown below it. On phones it's listed under that item in the menu.
