Edit your homepage words
Change any words on your website right beside it in the website builder, and choose which sections show.
Every word on your website is edited right beside it, in the website builder. Open Website > Edit website, then click any section in the preview (or pick it from Sections on the left).
The section's words
Under Words, the section shows the words it uses, and only those:
- Its own words first: the small label, title, buttons and links the design writes for that section. The design's wording shows faintly; leave a box empty to keep it, or type your own.
- Your website's words: the headline, your story, your contact text and so on. These are shared, so changing your headline here changes it everywhere your site shows it.
- Lists: sessions, reviews and questions open as a list. Click one to edit it, use the arrows to reorder, + Add for another, and Remove to take one off.
Your words save a moment after you stop typing, into your website's draft. The preview updates as you go. Click Publish at the top when you're happy; Discard throws the draft away.
Setting a word apart
Put an asterisk right before and right after a word or two in a title to set them in your accent, for example love. Use it sparingly, once or twice a page.
Which sections show
Move, hide and add sections under Sections. A few sections only show once they're switched on: mini sessions, the places map, reviews and questions. Switch them on under Site > Sections that need switching on.
If Flashslash Assist is switched on, the AI writing help is under Flashslash Assist.
