Your coming-soon page

While you set up your website, visitors can see a simple coming-soon page instead of a site full of sample photos and words. New studios start with it switched on.

What visitors see

Your logo (or your name if you have no logo), the words "Coming soon", a short note and an inquiry form. Underneath are your public email, phone, Instagram and a link to the client portal, when you've filled them in. Messages from the form arrive in Inquiries like any other inquiry.

It uses your website design's fonts and colors, and it shows on every web address your site has, including your own domain.

What keeps working

The links you send clients still open as normal:

• Booking, mini sessions, gift cards and waitlists
• Your privacy page
• Galleries, the client portal, invoices and forms

What you see

While you're signed in to your studio, you see your full website, so you can check your work as you go. A bar at the bottom reminds you that visitors see the coming-soon page. Click See their page in the bar to see it as they do.

Change the note

1. Open Website > Edit website and choose Site > Coming soon page (or click Edit the note on Website > Design).
2. Type in Note to visitors (optional). Leave it empty to use the standard note. It saves when you click away.

Click See the page to check how it looks. It opens your website address followed by /coming-soon, which always shows the page, even after you launch, so you can check it any time.

Launch your website

When your design, words and photos are ready, click Launch my website on Website > Design (or under Site > Coming soon page in the builder). Visitors see your full site straight away.

To put the page back up, for example while you redo your site, open Site > Coming soon page in the builder and click Switch the coming-soon page on.
