Your website's privacy page
Check and edit the privacy notice on your website, and choose how long old inquiries are kept.
Your website has a privacy page at your website address followed by /privacy. It tells clients how you look after their information, and it's linked from your website footer and from every form.
The standard wording
Flashslash writes it for you, filled in from your studio's details. While you use the standard wording, it keeps up with your details when they change.
Edit it
Only the studio owner can edit the privacy page.
- Open Settings > Your data and find the Privacy card. In the website builder, Privacy notice under Site opens it too.
- Change the text in Privacy notice. A line starting with ## becomes a heading. Leave a blank line between paragraphs.
- Click Save.
Once you've changed it, the card says you're using your own wording. To undo your changes, click Go back to the standard wording.
How long inquiries are kept
In the same card, Delete old inquiries automatically lets you choose After 12 months, After 24 months, After 36 months or Never, I'll delete them myself. Click Save.
Flashslash also clears some things on its own: the text of sent emails and gallery activity after 24 months, and visit counts after 13 months.
