Your free trial, and what happens when it ends

Every new studio starts with a 14-day free trial. You don't need a card to start.

What's included

The trial includes every feature, with 20GB of storage, 2 hours of video and 1 seat. The trial is for you alone: team members come with a plan. If you try to invite someone, Settings > Team says your trial includes 1 seat and asks you to choose a plan first.

Extra seats become available once you choose a plan. If you need more room than the trial gives you, choose a plan on Plan & billing before the trial ends: you get the plan's storage straight away, and your first payment still waits until the trial's last day.

Need more time?

Moving a website and galleries over can take more than two weeks. Once per studio, you can add 14 days to your trial yourself: on Plan & billing, click Add 14 days under Your plan. The extra days start from the end of your trial, or from today if it has already ended. The button stays there until you use it or choose a plan.

Keeping track of the days

• Plan & billing shows Free trial under Your plan, with the days left and the date it ends.
• In the last week of the trial, a window reminds you once each time you sign in, with an Add payment button.
• In the last 7 days, a banner at the top of the admin counts down the days.

Choosing a plan before it ends

Pick a plan any time from Plan & billing. You aren't charged until the trial ends, so choosing early doesn't cost you trial days. See Flashslash plans.

If the trial ends without a plan

Nothing is deleted straight away. Here's what happens, step by step:

1. For 14 days after the trial ends, your plan shows Plan needed. You can still sign in, see everything and choose a plan, but new uploads, new galleries and online bookings are paused. Your clients can still open their galleries and their portal.
2. After those 14 days, the studio is suspended. Your website and client pages show as temporarily unavailable, and the admin only opens on Plan & billing, Your data (so you can always download everything) and Help center.

1. 60 days after the trial ends, a studio that never chose a plan is deleted: its website, galleries, client records and photos. We email you 30 days and again 7 days before, and you can download everything until then.

Choosing a plan at any point before then brings everything back.
